His owner is unable to care for him due to heavy work commitments. Baileys is still the ever lovable bunny and it’s purely circumstantial that Baileys needs to look for another home. Baileys has always been a good boy. He’s playful and loves to play. He’s not hyper, but he’s really sweet and adorable.

Baileys need a home – forever home. He is entering the mature adulthood of his life and he does need a family. Someone to care for him and love him. Baileys is approximately 4 years of age but he doesn’t look it.

Baileys is rather friendly towards people but as he has always been in a single rabbit household (as far as I know and except during the time I fostered him). He does seem to get along with my bunnies @ that time, even though my bunnies weren’t so kind to him (my bunnies are too sheltered). Baileys need attention, so the new owner has to be committed to provide this.

So if you do know of anyone who might be able to give this 4-year-old unsterilised male a good home, please let me know. It’s still not too late to sterilise him.

Baileys’ current owner will provide the following items:
1. Cage;
2. Water Bottle;
3. Food Bowl;
4. Plastic Grill Mat for cage flooring

The new owner should be prepared to sterilise Baileys and purchase the following items on their own (I can assist if need be):
1. Litter box;
2. Hay Rack; and
3. Possibly a new cage (the current cage may be well used by Baileys)

Other necessities such as vegetables, pellets, hay and others should be also bought by the owner.

I will try to get pictures when I can. The current owner has to travel for a while, so I will try to make arrangements to see him and take pictures.

Baileys went over to his new home on 27 July 2008. He’s very happy in his new home and his new family is absolutely delighted with him. He loves to tease his owner a lot of makes her laugh too!

Turn-turtle Baileys after taking his multi-vitamins

Though I haven’t really let them meet each other, the rest can hear Baileys but not see him because I put covers around his cage so that he cannot be seen and he cannot see them. LOL.

*aragh* got to go give him his multi-vitamins now. Such a painful task because he absolutely hates it.

He’ll be done with his course of multi-vitamins by the end of this week! Hurray! He really hates to have it but I think it’s better for him to have it because that way, I don’t have to worry so much about his nutritional intake.

Baileys hate it for people to stick things into his mouth, be it to feed him or to check his back teeth. LOL. He’s less receptive to it than Hugs and Caramel. LOL.

He’ll be ready to go home after 28th July 2008. I think his new family cannot wait to have him with them.

It’s great knowing that he’ll be going to a great home!

He’s also started to eat his pellets. I gave him a mixture of Bunny Nature and Oxbow. He’s eating both and at the moment, I’m free feeding him. Because he’s not really eating much, I bought some herbs and veggies for him to try. I also gave some nature grass as well.

I’m hoping that he wouldn’t be too stressed up and settle down comfortably.

Hopefully, this is a sign that he’s starting to settle down and be comfortable. Also, hopefully this means he’ll start eating more.
